Open Letter To Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, By A Stauch APC Supporter (READ)

Dear Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan,

Though I was one of those who made the system “hot” for you when you were in office through endless articles and criticism on national dailies and online blogs, however, I regret to say that just within 13 months that you relinquished the insignia of power, the prices of essential commodities have gone out of the reach of common people.

Things are so bad that Nigerians now steal pot of soup on fire. Nigeria is now drifting towards the ABACHA era. Nigerians have watched and still watching in aghast as things suddenly gone awry. No essential basic amenity is working in Nigeria as I write.

Apple has completely changed its plan to conquer TV
Tim Cook

Last year, Apple CEO Tim Cook declared that the "future of television is apps," a refrain that has been repeated by Apple execs over and over since then.

But navigating separate apps is a horrible way to watch TV, and it seems that Apple has finally seen the light.

Apple's big TV plan now revolves around building an advanced TV guide that will tie content services like Netflix, HBO, and ESPN together, industry sources tell Recode's Peter Kafka.

Jeff Bezos just sold a boatload of Amazon stock
Jeff Bezos

Jeff Bezos just got a nice payday.

In his most valuable stock sale ever, the Amazon founder and CEO sold about 1 million shares of his company this week. That's more than $755 million worth of stock.

The sale itself is routine — Bezos sells a huge number of shares every year on a predetermined schedule — but the sheer bounty is pretty extraordinary.

The 2016 Toyota Mirai.
Right now, if you want an alternative-fuel vehicle, you have to pick from offerings that either require gasoline or an electrical outlet. The gas-electric hybrid and the battery-powered car — your Toyota Priuses, Chevy Volts, and Teslas — are staples in this space. There are drawbacks for drivers of both types.

How to earn more from fixed deposits

How to earn more from fixed deposits

If you have some money in the bank and you have no plans to spend it now, you can transfer it to a fixed deposit account to boost your savings.

Fixed Deposit accounts are a type of savings account that functions on a fixed interest rate for a predetermined period. Once the account matures, the interest is then credited to you, the investor.

Shop for the highest rate from different banks: You have to shop for the highest rates among the banks. This is actually one of the reasons why some depositors have more than one bank.

The 3 Basic Building Blocks of Money

The 3 Basic Building Blocks of Money
The 3 Basic Building Blocks of Money

The lack of knowledge about money is the cause of most people’s financial problems. So many of us have so much false information regarding money, finance, budgets, debt and income that it is no wonder that most people never accumulate much wealth. I know people who won’t buy anything if it isn’t on sale, yet who are still broke because they don’t understand how to produce income. They spend their entire life thinking money is scarce, when in reality, it’s merely a currency printed by man. I also know people who know how to produce income but never learn how to manage it and end up with none of it. While most of us believe that money isn’t the only element of happiness, we know that it’s necessary to maintain a comfortable life.

Your Best Advisor in Life Is Death (VIDEO)

In this video, speaking from Kyoto, Japan, Dr. Dragos says that just as our solar system travels throughout the greater universe during it's lifetime, we too travel on a spaceship called Earth during our lives -- and we only have a short time to fill life with the best things for us before we die.

"The spiritual teachers of the past thought death as their most cherished friend," he says. "Because if you're not sure what to do in your life, simply ask death."

Are You Looking to Make a Sale or Create a Customer?

We measure most of our success in marketing by our return on investment (ROI). If a tactic generates revenue in relation to what we invest in it, we call it a success. 8 Ways to Save $1 Million Dollars Before You Retire

Saving for your retirement is a given. But, how much money do you need to set aside to enjoy your golden years?

How does a million bucks sound?

That may not sound feasible, but it’s not as challenging as you think if you follow these eight strategies.

1. Start saving as soon as you can.
The younger you start saving, the less amount of money you’ll have to put aside each month. For example, if you start saving $405 per month at the age of of 25, and are receiving an average annual return of 7 percent, you'll make you a millionaire by age 65. If you wait until later in life to start your savings, you’ll have to devote more money each month to catch-up.
